Some days before Google Maps recently tested the ability to verify your business using video verification but now Google is constantly testing different process of business verification which is email verification.
“For select businesses, we now offer users the option to receive their verification code by email.
Before choosing verification by email, make sure you can access the address shown in the verification screen. If you don’t have access to this email account, or you don’t see this option, then please select one of the other available options, such as postcard.
To verify by email just click the Email option, check your email and enter the code we sent to you.”
Kiran C Kumar posted on Twitter that he received an option to verify his Google business listing via email confirmation.
Google has given these three options to verify their listing:
(1) By email now
(2) By phone now
(3) By mail postcard for later.
But Mr. Kiran C Kumar assumed that the option to verify the business listing via email is possible when the GMB account is using the domain email. And the email id is listed somewhere on the official web site. So it can work well, assuming the site was not hacked.
